Following the recent news about EA’s acquisition, I’d like to share my perspective.
I plan to stay active in the EA Creator Network and SuperUser Program (as a Hero+ on the EA Forums), committed to giving feedback to developers and CMs, and supporting players. I hope that The Sims 4 and The Sims FreePlay will remain welcoming and safe spaces for all.
These games are special to me, and to so many others, because they offer a place where we can express ourselves freely, create without limits, and see inclusivity and imagination come to life.
I understand that many in the community, myself included, are feeling uncertain about what the future may bring. Change often brings both hope and concern, and it’s natural to worry about how this acquisition might affect the games we love and the community. For now, we’ll simply have to wait and see what unfolds, hoping that the values and creativity that define The Sims continue to thrive.
